The Tryouts tab is the main method of getting actor cards through use of a gacha mechanic. There are always at least two tryouts in the Tryout Tab, each with different mechanisms and features. Tryouts mainly use 
Gems. Most often you can pull one or ten random cards at a time ranging from Normal (N) to Super Super Rare (SSR) in rarity, but exceptions apply. Certain tryouts only allow you to pull with premium gems.
It is strongly recommended that you only do 10x pulls, and not 10 single pulls or pulling once whenever you get the chance. When you pull x10, the odds of getting an SR and above is guaranteed, there are higher rates of getting the card you want, and you also save 5 gems.

Types[]
Limited Time Tryouts: Regular kind of limited time tryouts with R-SSR rarity cards with Gems.
Premium Tryouts: Get 1-3 limited-time SSR actors in their birthday month with Gems.
Friend Tryouts : Get N-R rarity cards using Friend Points.
Revival Tryouts: Get past cards from Limited Time tryouts with Gems.
Revival Token Tryouts: Choose which card you want from a set of past limited time cards with Revival Tokens.
Birthday Revival Tryouts: Choose a birthday card from a set of past limited time cards with Birthday Revival Tokens.
Choice Tryouts: Choose a featured card of your choice with a Choice Token.
Start Dash Tryouts: Choose a card of your choice from a set of limited time cards with a Choice Token.
