The following transcript is the backstage story of Masumi Usui SR 【Blooming Trail】.

Part 1
[Izumi's Room]
???	Izumi... Hey, Izumi...
Izumi	(Huh...? Someone's calling for me... They sound so far away...)
???	Izumi...
Izumi	Hm...? Masumi...? Is that you?
Masumi	...Are you finally awake? You're so cute when you're sleeping, but you're just as adorable when you're half-awake...
Izumi	G'morn- Wait, huh?! Masumi, what are you doing in my room?!
Masumi	You weren't coming out even though it's late. so I came to wake you up.
Izumi	Wait, what time is it now?
Masumi	It's already past 8.
Izumi	Oh no, you're right! I overslept! I totally forgot to set my alarm last night...
Masumi	You even forgot to lock your door. Who knows what would've happened if another guy besides me came in here?
Izumi	R-right... Hold on, you can't just come barging in here, either! I still know it's my fault that I didn't lock the door, but still!
Masumi	You don't have to worry about me. Anyway, just be more careful from now on.
Izumi	I'll keep that in mind... But Masumi, don't just come inside my room so suddenly. You're going to give me a heart attack. Anyway, I was planning to do some errands today, so I'm glad you woke me up. Thanks.
Masumi	No problem. Here, take my hand. I can help you get out of bed.
Izumi	I do NOT need your help with that!
[Scene Change: Lounge]
Izumi	Good morning.
Omi	Oh, morning, Izumi.
Tsuzuru	Good morning. Breakfast's ready.
Izumi	Thanks! It looks delicious.
Omi	Glad to see you finally up. Masumi really must've gone to wake you.
Izumi	Huh? How'd you know that?
Omi	I remember you said you were supposed to head out this morning, but you still hadn't come out to eat. I was getting kind of worried.
Tsuzuru	Then Masumi suddenly vanished from the lounge, so we figured he was going to wake you up.
Izumi	Oh, that makes sense. Sorry for worrying you guys. I just forgot to set my phone alarm and ended up sleeping in.
Tsuzuru	It happens to the best of us.
Masumi	I can go wake you up every morning, then.
Izumi	Uh, you seriously don't have to. This rarely ever happens, so rest easy.
Izumi	Uh, you seriously don't have to. This rarely ever happens, so rest easy! But thank you so much for waking me up today, Masumi. You really saved me. It feels pretty nice to have another person wake you up instead of some obnoxiously loud beeping noise.
Omi	Haha, you're right about that.
Tsuzuru	Since you have a room all to yourself, I can see how that'd be nice.
Masumi	...

[Izumi's Room]
Izumi	Phew... Thank goodness Masumi woke me up this morning. Otherwise, I don't think I would've managed to head out on time and get everything taken care of today.
[Knock- knock- knock-]
Izumi	Who could that be? Come in. Oh, hi again, Masumi
Masumi	Here, Izumi. This is for you.
Izumi	Wow, what a gorgeously wrapped box... Why are you giving this to me?
Masumi	Just open it.
Izumi	Uh, okay? (Even the actual box itself is cute! Is it really okay to open it?)
Izumi	It's...a clock? Oh wow, the dials are Alice in Wonderland themed!
Masumi	It's an alarm clock.
Izumi	I had a feeling that's what it was, It's super cute! It reminds me of the Spring Troupe's second performance, too. Are you really sure you want to give this to me...?
Masumi	I bought it judt for you. I know how hard you've been working for us since I met you last year... So I wanted to get something for you.

Izumi	G-good night. (It's been a year and I'm still not used to how Masumi can get at times...) But this alarm clock he got me sure is cute... I'll set it now and hit the hay.
[Timeskip to morning]
???	Izumi... Hey, Izumi...
Izumi	Hm...? Huh?!
Alarm Clock	Wake up, Izumi. We have to get going, Izumi. I love you. I really, truly love you.
Izumi	(Holy crap! Why is Masumi's voice coming from the clock?!) I'll figure that out later! I gotta stop this alarm, first!
[Scene Change: Lounge Hallway]
Masumi	G'morning, Izumi.
Izumi	W-whoa! Hey, Masumi, you scared the living daylights out of me.
Masumi	Did you wake up okay today?
Izumi	I did. But, Masumi... Why's the clock...um, the way it is?
Masumi	You mentioned before that it'd be nice to wake up to my voice. So I bought a clock I could record mt voice with.
Izumi	What? When did I ever say something like that...?
Masumi	Yesterday morning.
[Flashback]
Izumi	It feels pretty nice to have another person wake you up instead of some obnoxiously loud beeping noise.
[Flashback end]
Izumi	(And the monkey paw curls a finger)* (He must've assumed that I was talking about him when I said 'another person'...) (But he DID go through all of that effort of getting that gift for me as a sign of his gratitude...)
Masumi	Now I'll be with you every morning to wake you up...
Izumi	(Well, it sure did wake me up. Guess I can't really complain about that part. Haha...)
