Mini Chat[]

Romeo and Julius
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (1/3)
Tsuzuru: Mercutio’s Romeo’s childhood friend……
I’ve never played a role like that before but it might be easier to go through with it if I act like an older brother.
In actual fact, asides from Sakuya who’s playing as Romeo, there are still many other people targeting Masumi, who’s playing Julius……
Though I don’t have much experience in plays, I intend to thoroughly understand the character’s I’ve wrote down in the script.
I am an actor from now on. I’ll be leaving the directing of the play to you, Director.
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (2/3)
Tsuzuru: Since Citron-san had said that he wanted to go along no matter what, I brought him along to the karaoke.
And then he monopolized the mic, singing really awfully in popular songs in some language none of us could make out.
That was the first time I ever felt that an hour could be so long……
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (3/3)
Tsuzuru: I had met the owner where I had been working part-time for after a long absence earlier. He had somehow known about you.
What a small world–
The owner had said that you were a “Cute and kind girl” but all of us know that really well–
Wait, I don’t mean anything at all……!
Tsuzuru & Misumi Talk
Misumi: Tsuzuru, Tsuzuru~! I’ve got something to ask of you–!
Tsuzuru: A favor? What is it?
Misumi: Tsuzuru wrote the play’s script, right? That’s why I want to play as a triangle in the next act–!
Tsuzuru: No, I’ve already said it earlier but there’s no mistake with your role–
Misumi: How about the role of a rice ball or~ the role of a ruler! I’m okay with anything so long as it’s triangular–!
Tsuzuru: You’re not listening at all! Besides, what’s a triangle gonna be doing in here.
Misumi: A stationary great war!
Tsuzuru: Wait, that actually sounds a little interesting![1]
Alex in Wonderland
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (1/3)
Tsuzuru: I wrote it myself but I certainly didn’t think that I would have to act while wearing rabbit ears…….
Huh? The original White Rabbit was a character that was easily swayed by the other characters?

If you’re the one saying it then it might so….
Gosh, it’s kinda messed up to relate to that.
I had a feeling that I would be good at playing the White Rabbit.
I’m going to get fired up and do my best!

Side Minagi Tsuzuru (2/3)
Tsuzuru: Recently, the manager has been humming songs while cleaning. At first I ignored him, but if you listen carefully, it’s a good song and he’s pretty good at humming it.
The manager’s irresponsible, bad at cooking, and he has bad taste.
Honestly, it was disappointing. Perhaps, if he tried singing properly, he’d be good at it, maybe…?
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (3/3)
Tsuzuru: To be honest, my friends from university invited me to a group date. But, I turned them down saying it was because I’m busy and I have practice.
It’s not that I hate noisy get-togethers with everyone but it doesn’t mean I like group dates like Miyoshi-san does.
Rather than going to a group date I prefer rehearsing for plays and eating meals with everyone from the troupe — and it’s much more fun when I’m with you like this, Director!
Tsuzuru & Tsumugi Talk
Tsuzuru: Huh? Is that a workbook for middle school students, Tsukioka-san?
Tsumugi: Yeah. There’s a kid I'm going to tutor.
Tsuzuru: That's right, you do home tutoring, Tsukioka-san. Huh, isn’t that one for high school students?
Tsumugi: This is for Taichi-kun and Tenma-kun. I promised to look at their homework tonight.
Tsuzuru: Ah, I see.
Tsumugi: Today, Juza-kun said he might also participate. That reminds me, Muku-kun was writing an essay, but I wonder if he’s finished.
Tsuzuru: Haha. I’m also always getting advice from you when I writing a script, you really are the MANKAI Company’s Tsukioka-sensei.
Uni Boys
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (1/3)
Tsuzuru: How I spend my time at college? Ah, I like the library. It's really comfortable...
Between lectures I hang around there, before I notice my wonderful time just goes by.
There are also so many books with material I can use for writing.... It's like my oasis on the campus.
It's not just only the books I like....but the whole atmosphere?

In the past used to be a member of the library committee before, so it feels a bit like home~.

Side Minagi Tsuzuru (2/3)
Tsuzuru: I often get asked by senpais of the literature department about the photography department, even though I'm only in the same circle as Fushimi-san, it's still troublesome.
At drinking parties or training camps they'll take the initiative, yet I don't know if he is unaware that woman aim for him....
But, he rejects any advances clearly. Yet it seems like its not his principle.
There are plenty things left to learn....It's really good that I go to the same university as Fushimi-san.
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (3/3)
Tsuzuru: At college, people with so many various dreams attend it.... people who produce music, some draw manga.
Also, everyone is similar to us who play in dramas, sometimes it's hard but everyday is also a lot of fun.
Of course I know it's not a path, but I really am grateful that I can follow my dream with all might, that's what I thought.
Also, I realized pursuing the same dream together with friends is reassuring, especially because I did it alone in high school.
From now on doing plays together with Director and everyone else, it gives me a pleasant itching to do something....
Suddenly I became passionate with little hesitation, but this is my honest feeling now.
Tsuzuru & Tenma Talk
Tsuzuru: Tenma, you play as a college student in your next drama?

Could it be, that you'll film inside our university?

Tenma: Ahh, the other day we filmed the first episode. Hasei University is quite big.
Tsuzuru: Yup. Our campus ground is wide~ There are different department buildings.... Tenma, did you got lost?
Tenma: I, I wasn't lost!! Just when I came back from the toilet, for a moment I couldn't understand where the location of building 1 was.
Tsuzuru:

Ahh, it's an unfamiliar area so it's inevitable.

The morning I first enrolled I didn't knew which was building No. 1 and which was No. 2.
Filming will take a while, won't it? How about you go incognito and visit me next time?

I'll give you a tour around Omi's and my campus.

Tenma: ..Thank you. Actually, I heard from the staff that the school cafeteria's chicken soba is really good.

So please show me around next time.

Operation: Campfire Bonds
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (1/3)
Tsuzuru:

That reminds me, I once had a part-time job at a campsite.
What was this job about? Giving information on facilities and the preparation of barbecue tools...
Also, there were a some of people who got injured so I had to do a lot of first aid.
Thanks to my little brothers I already knew a bit and was able to do it quickly.

Side Minagi Tsuzuru (2/3)
Tsuzuru: After all we're camping so we'll cook with outdoor cooking utensils.
That's why, I thought about checking out camping dishes.
I borrowed a book from the library and Fushimi-san taught me a bit too....
In the end it will be curry.... But, it's delicious.
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (3/3)
Tsuzuru: Oh, Director. I'll setup the tent.
It's okay. Director it's dangerous, so please step back.
I did that during my part time job at the campsite so I'm good at it.
Besides, if Director got injured the Director would be troubled, isn't it so.
You are our Director after all. So, please don't hesitate to depend on me.
Tsuzuru & Muku Talk
Tsuzuru: With that, the preparation of the campfire is OK.
Muku: Yes. A campfire is sure is nice. It sometimes appears in shōjo manga too.

Staring into a campfire while sharing love stories, dancing a folk dance around it.

Tsuzuru: By the way, at school festivals I've danced a folk dance around a campfire too.
Muku: Ehh, really!? How nice, I want to try it too. A folk dance....It's a classic heart throbbing scene yet the members of our camp are only boys..... Ah, if it was Maimo・Maimo[2], everyone would be able to do it!
Tsuzuru: The spring and summer troupe members, doing Maimo・Maimo....

To be able to imagine something like this, it's kinda amazing.

A Springtime Snooze
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (1/3)
Tsuzuru:

I can't believe we're going to stay at a villa famous for being a celebrity getaway spot... It's definitely something only Azuma could pull off.
I'll have to take a ton of notes while we're there. It's not every day that I get the chance to visit such a fancy place and get material for scripts.
We don't hang out with the Winter Troupe much, so I'm pretty excited to be holding our training camp together.
Since they're all adults, I bet our nights will end with drinking parties...
I get the feeling practicing wih them will be totally different to when we worked with the Summer Troupe. Here's to hoping we can all learn a lot together!

Side Minagi Tsuzuru (2/3)
Tsuzuru: Azuma said there's a horseback riding club across the way where we can ride some horses.
When he said he used to do a lot of horseback riding, Citron mentioned that he has experience in it, too.
I'm about a million percent sure Citron was lying when he said there was a point in his life when he had to commute to work by horse...
But it seems like he was telling the truth about having horseback riding experience. I actually really want to see him on a horse. It'd be quite a sight.
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (3/3)
Tsuzuru: H-hey, Izumi...
Tasuku is such a fast runner... I'm amazed Sakuya is managing to keep up to him...
You got me a drink? Thanks!
Ah, that's refrehing... Drinking this and seeing your smile is making all my pain go away.
Oof... I need to start working out more.
Sorry you have to see me like this... And here you are, going out of your way to jog with us, too...
Actually, I guess there's nothing to be embarrassed about. You've seen me at my lowest more than once already anyway.
That doesn't stop me from wanting to impress you with my cool sides, though.
All right, I'm nice and fired up again! Time to pick up the pace!
Tsuzuru & Tasuku Talk (please add)
Various Vows of Love
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (1/3)
Tsuzuru:

Man, just thinking about having to do a photo schoot in a tuxedo is making me nervous...
Though I heard it's going to be at a really pretty chapel, so at least I can look forward to that.
Come to think of it, I haven't attended many weddings or really gone to look at wedding venues before, so I think this'll be a good experience.
Plus, my second oldest brother's gonna get married soon... And my friends and other brothers might get married one day, too.
I've never really thought about all that, but now that I am, I'm getting overwhelmed with a lot of complicated feelings...

Side Minagi Tsuzuru (2/3)
Tsuzuru: Apparently, Muku heard about our photo shoot from Miyoshi, and he's been really looking forward to seeing the pamphlets once they're done.
I can see why, though. Tuxedoes do give off that princely vibe, and I'm sure he'd love this place.
I glanced over some of Muku's manga for reference, but I have serious doubts that I can look even half as regal and dignified as the characters in them...
I'm sure Tenma and Banri would have no issues pulling off all those shojo manga-like poses and such, though.
I might be a plain-looking guy, but Muku's rooting for me, so I'll do my best to channel my inner prince and get some good photos taken!
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (3/3)
Tsuzuru: ...
Oh, s-sorry for staring.
You look so natural standing in the middle of this chapel, it just kind of took me off guard. It's almost like you belong here.
You were really, um... beautiful while you were gazing out the window.
U-uh, I mean! Sorry, I don't mean anything weird. I just got a little carried away being in here and wearing this tux.
But I really hope that I can capture the image and ethereal feeling of you standing here in writing one day.
When I manage to do that, I'd love for you to be the first one to read my work, Izumi.
Tsuzuru & Guy
Guy: I have brewed tea on many occasions as Citronia's valet, but I have not had many chances to cook.
If you do not mind I would like to help you with dinner as a way to learn how to cook.
Tsuzuru: Sure thing. In that case, can you grab those leeks for me?
Guy: Leaks? I am sorry, but I do not see water leaking anywhere.
Tsuzuru: What? What are you talking abou-? Oh, no! Not that kind of leak! I meant those long, green vegetables over there!
Guy: Oh. My apologies. You needed these, right?
Tsuzuru: Th-thanks. Next, we need to beat these eggs.
Guy: Hmm...
Tsuzuru: ...Whoa! Hang on, why are you raising your hand over the bowl like that?! I'm not asking you to hit the eggs! Use these chopsticks to whisk them!
Guy: Oh. Beat as in 'whisk'. I see. I will proceed to do that.
Tsuzuru: My god... Guy's just as bad if not worse than Citron... Someone, give me strength...
Knights of the Round IV On Stage
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (1/3)
Tsuzuru: The play this time is based off of something that's not a classical work, and the person who made it is actually involved in production, so...
We're doing everything completely differently, and there's a lot of pressure. Things have been difficult and not for the usual reasons.
Still, I was able to write something Hoshii approved of, and all of this has been a good experience for me.
Now I have to tackle learning my character. I'm playing the final boss, after all. Not to mention that he has two very different sides to him.
I have to make sure I'm loyal to the game character while also figuring out ways to make a version of Merlin that can only be seen on stage.
It's going to be tough since I have to pass Itaru's check and get his approval even before the creator and fans get to see it.
I may have finished the script, but I've still got my work cut out for me.
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (2/3)
Tsuzuru: My eyes have been kind of tired recently. Maybe it's from playing so many games for research.
I feel like my shoulders are pretty tight, too, but that could also be because I spent so much time writing the script.
I was complaining about it a little bit easier, and Kumon started teaching me a bunch of stretches and pressure points I could try out.
He even gave me a back massage. Did you know he's really good at those? It felt amazing.
I knew he was a health nut, but I didn't think that would extend to massage techniques.
He even gave me a warm towel to put over my eyes. It was super relaxing.
He also taught me his ninth series of daily stretches, but... seriously, how is the Summer Troupe able to do them...?
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (3/3)
Tsuzuru: Is everything okay izumi?
I'm out here because I'm having trouble finishing my report.
Masumi's already asleep in the room, and it's nice to have a change of scenery every once in a while, anyway.
Hm? You'll make me a midnight snack?
Thanks. I was actually just starting to feel a little hungry.
Were you doing something that's got you up and about so late, too? Let me guess, getting documents ready for a meeting?
Why don't we go to the lounge and work together, then? I'm sure I'll be able to make better headway on my report with you working hard beside me.
I think I'll take a little break first, though. How would you like some pudding to go with that midnight snack?
There's this one type I've been really into recently, so I have some stocked up in the fridge.
...It's fun to treat ourselves like this every once in a while, don't you think? Feels like it's our little secret.
Tsuzuru & Sakyo's Chat
Tsuzuru: Hm? Isn't this a DVD of the KotR anime?
Sakyo: Yeah. The game you guys are doing your play on doesn't have an anime, but they made an adaptation of V, so I rented it. I don't play games, but if we're going to be putting on a show based on one, I want to know about it.
Tsuzuru: Wait, you watched the whole thing?! You know it's a sequel, right?
Sakyo: Well, at first I just watched it to see what the games were all about, but it was better than I expected. The script was interesting enough, and the art and acting is good quality. It's no wonder why even a director against expanding into other forms of media gave it his okay.
Tsuzuru: That's some high praise. Now I wanna watch it, too.
Sakyo: There are also a lot of scenes revolving around business. The original concept of V is of a money-making simulation game, right? It's not a bad theme, progressing through the story by making trades and transactions. I don't normally play games, but maybe I'll try my hand at KotR V.
Tsuzuru: You? You're going to play KotR V? I feel like even Itaru wouldn't be able to hold a candle to you if it comes to a game about business transactions.
The Moon and the Rabbit
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (1/3)
Tsuzuru: Remember how that rabbit wandered into our dorm around the time we were doing Alex in Wonderland? We took care of it and tried looking for its owner then...
But now, we're in the complete opposite situation since we've been asked to find a runaway rabbit.
And who would've thought that going on a rabbit hunt would give us the opportunity to perform at a shrine?
Being entrusted to adapt a ceremony with such a rich history for a more modern audience has been a huge honor.
I still need to read the documents I borrowed from the priest and ask her more about the dance. And I should go to the library to study up on classical theater.
I'll definitely have a full plate for the time being, but I think all of this research will pay off in the long run! I can't wait to learn more!
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (2/3)
Tsuzuru: Have you heard of the 'Moon Thief' custom? I heard it's tradition for the local kids to 'steal' the offerings left out for the moon viewing festival.
Itaru got all excited when I told him since it sounds like a real-life stealth game. He even made us try it out...
The rules were simple enough. We lined the table with dango, and all you had to do was grab one without the others noticing.
But you're not going to believe this. The game was over as soon as it started. All of the dango was gone in a flash!
When I took a closer look, I saw Misumi and Hisoka standing by the table, happily chowing down on the dango they stole.
I didn't even see them move, but those two somehow grabbed every last piece. It really wasn't much of a game to begin with...
Side Minagi Tsuzuru (3/3)
Tsuzuru: Izumi, can you come here for a bit?
Oh, this is a traditional cup the priest let me borrow. Look, do you see the way the moon is reflected in the water?
Apparently, people didn't stare directly at the moon as much back in the day. They'd preferred to gaze at its reflection in cups or ponds.
It's a pretty charming custom, don't you think?
Doesn't it get you all emotional to think that the people of the past loved to look at this very same moon just as much as we do now?
The moon looks gorgeous, and I'm glad I get to share this moment with you. I don't think I'll ever forget tonight...
N-not that I mean anything by that, of course.
Tsuzuru & Tenma's Chat
Tenma: I heard that Misumi will be playing a rabbit character for your upcoming performance.
Tsuzuru: Yeah, he is. He asked me for tips on how to get into the role since I played the White Rabbit in our Wonderland show.
Tenma: Hm... If he really wants to get into character, I bet those rabbit pajamas would help him out.
Tsuzuru: Oh, I almost forgot about those. I don't think Misumi would mind wearing them at all.
Tenma: Wearing that'd definitely help out with publicity for our troupe since it's so eye-catching and everything.
Tsuzuru: Tenma... Do you actually like wearing that thing?
Tenma: O-of course not! What did I say that gave you that impression?! Look, I'm just saying that it might come in handy since Misumi's trying to get into character for an unusual role. I'd be happy to help him with his role studies as long as it didn't involve that ridiculous costume.
Tsuzuru: Oh, wait...
Tenma: What's wrong?
Tsuzuru: Uh, never mind. It's nothing.
(Speaking of getting into character... Misumi asked for lots of carrot dishes tonight. Probably best to let Tenma find out about the bad news on his own...)
