Omi:	For dinner this evening, what do you want? Ah, besides Curry of course. A… You know what Director, you work so hard, curry would be okay too. I'll make it if you like, and let's add to that some pudding as desert. Ha ha, you look so delighted, Director is cute.

Azuma:	Yes. You are cute, gentle and good at cooking.

Side Fushimi Omi (1/3)
Omi:	The character I'm playing, Han, runs a ramen shop in the second half of the show. There aren't a lot of actual cooking scenes, but I've gotta say, I'm a little excited to be acting the part of a chef. Taichi seems excited for the show too, since it's his first time playing the main character and all. Back when I was the lead in The Stranger, Taichi helped me out a lot. Now it's my turn to support him. The play this time fits Taichi perfectly, don't you think? A bright, happy kung fu comedy. I bet it's gonna be a blast both to put on and to watch. I'll do what I can to help Taichi draw on his natural talents and positivity to make the funniest play this audience has ever seen.
Side Fushimi Omi (2/3)
Omi:	The weather was really nice out today, so I washed the chair cushion and pillow covers along with the laundry and put everything out to dry. Guy walked by as I was bringing everything in and folding it, so he helped me out. I showed him how I usually fold things, and look how nicely he did it. I didn't even iron these, but there's not a single wrinkle on them. He sure is something else. He always seems so impressed when I teach him simple household tricks like that. It's a little frustrating, really.

Omi:	Are you heading out already, Izumi? You said you've got a meeting today, right? And then you're helping out another troupe? You've been pretty busy lately... I wish there was something I could to help you out... Do you think you'll be home in time for dinner? I always find it relaxes me to eat with everyone else. You've been working hard, so how about I make one of your favorites? Any requests? ...You got it. I'll make it the best you've ever had, just you wait. Just make sure you're not pushing yourself too hard, okay? If you buy any groceries or anything on the way home, call me and I'll come carry them for you. Have fun today. I'll have dinner ready and waiting when you come back.
Omi & Chikage Talk
Omi:	You like spicy food, right, Chikage? I bet you like some of the really spicy Chinese food that's out there.
Chikage:	Yeah, the spices are different, but they're still delicious. I actually had to go to the HQ of a Chinese restaurant chain for work once, and they told me about this legendary, super-spicy dish when I was there. So I trekked through valleys, forded rivers, and crossed the most remote of mountains to find the little restaurant where they served it.
Omi:	Wow, that's dedication.
Chikage:	I actually buy some of the peppers used in the Chinese cooking once in a while, like chili peppers and Szechuan peppers. Would you like to use some?
Omi:	Would that be okay? I could use them to add a real kick to my mapo tofu recipe.
Chikage:	It's a deal. I look forward to it. If there are any other spices or anything you need, just let me know. I'll go to the farm where they're grown directly.
Omi:	Isn't that a little overkill?
Chikage:	It's no big deal. I'll be rewarded with some delicious spiciness for my efforts, after all.
Omi:	Haha. That's hardcore. You remind me of Izumi when she's talking about curry, or Hisoka with his marshmallows.

Omi:	I'm a chef, so I often use our shared kitchen to cook. Because of that, I get to talk and interact with the other residents pretty frequently. It's a lot of fun. Everyone in the apartment really loves acting. They'll talk about shows they watched together lately or arrange times to put on street acts together. I'm quite fond of that little stage in the courtyard, which is why I'm glad we're finally cleaning it up. You've got my full support on that project. I can do a lot of heavy lifting, so please let me know if there's anything I can help with. Oh, and of course, if you've got any food requests. I'm more than happy to listen to those, too.

Omi:	I just realized that I haven't seen Itaru since yesterday. I'm betting some new game swallowed him right up. His main thing is streaming. He usually does games, though he also does videos to show off merch and stuff. I've watched some of his videos before, and he's pretty good. He's an interesting host, and he knows a lot about games. The other day, he asked me if I could help him with one of his videos. He said he wanted to recreate this delicious-looking ramen from one of his games. It had some pretty odd ingredients, but at least there wasn't anything in it that was too far past the realm of edible... But that thing was nothing short of a massive calorie bomb. And I do mean massive. The final portion was huge. He said it was tasty but that he'd never ask for the dish to be recreated again. He still powered through and finished it all, though. Talk about dedication.

Omi:	Hey, that magazine... I'm actually featured in one of the articles. They did this whole special on innovative cooking, so they asked me for an interview. I do interviews from time to time, but honestly, I'm still not used to them. Cooking is a lot simpler. Huh? You actually bought this because you noticed I was featured in it? Haha, that's pretty embarrassing to hear, but...thanks. I actually have another interview tomorrow. I've been a bit nervous about it all day, but knowing I've got your support gives me the confidence I needed. You're a real mystery, you know? Whenever you're around, I find it so much easier to smile. You make the whole room light up. Hey, I've got an idea. Let me treat you to the recipe I talk about in that magazine. Take it as my way of thanking you for grabbing a copy. I'll even adjust the recipe to suit your palate. I'll make it the tastiest thing you've ever had, so please look forward to it.

Omi:	Oh, sorry. I didn't notice you there. Did you want to use the kitchen?
Yuki:	Nah, I just came to grab a straw. Did you make those?
Omi:	Yeah, I'm making some samplers for this new recipe I'm putting together. I'm happy with the taste, but I'm not sure how I should garnish and present it...
Yuki:	Huh. I'm no cooking expert, but they'd probably look better if you add a pop of green over here. You should make it a little bit cuter overall, too. You could decorate this area with some flower-shaped garnishes. Something like that would definitely go over well with women and children.
Omi:	Yeah, that's a good idea. Let me just carve these cucumbers and carrots into flowers... Cut some stars, too...
Yuki:	Well, aren't you fast. That went from plain to plain adorable in seconds.
Omi:	It's all because of your great insight. Hey, how about I repay you by letting you taste this omurice? Only if you're interested, of course.
Yuki:	You sure? Don't mind if I do, then. Honestly, I've been eyeing it from the start.
