Improv Events

Improv Events are significantly different than the normal type of Event play. During Improv Events, collect as many Tips as you can to get rewards and Event Story chapters. The more you get, the better the prizes are. Rankings are not available.

Improv Events may be rerun in the so-called Revival Events (check page for more details).

How to Participate[]

Events are accessible through the Event button on the Play tab, or directly through the main page slider. If there is currently not an event ongoing, then the button will be grey and you will not be allowed to click on the page.

Overview[]

Play the Event Practice like you would normally do. However, Improv Battles will randomly pop up during your practice. Complete the Battles successfully to gain Tips.
If you win, you’ll get a big amount of Tips. If you lose, earned Tips will decrease.
After you complete a Battle successfully, you will have a random chance to get a Lucky Tip. If you match two or more of the same characters, you can get extra rewards.
Use Tips get rewards from Total Tip goals and to do Kame Gacha, which gives bonus prizes.
Ad Lib skills are very important in Improv Battles so try to max it out by Training.
Rankings will NOT be available in this style of Event.

Duration[]

Events usually start at 19:00 PST/PDT or After Maintenance (around 8-9 PM) and last 10 days, including the starting day and end at 23:59 PST/PDT.

After Events finish, the Event Programs will only be available from the Main tab. You will not be able to further play the event and get Tips for it, but may look at the list of Rewards, Kame Gacha, etc. The Practice will NOT be moved to the Plays tab after the event has ended and you will no longer be able to play it.

However, you will still be able to spend any remaining Tips in the Kame Gacha when the Event Page is available. You can always read Event Chapters after the Event has finished.

Special Cards[]

Some cards will offer boosts during shows. Using them in your Show team or having them as a Guest Actor will give an advantage. These bonuses will not occur when Special Actors are used as Support Roles (where members are selected automatically).

Limited-time cards offered in the paired tryout will give big bonuses, shown with a
icon.
Birthday Cards from the Premium Tryouts of that month will give smaller bonuses, displayed with a
icon.

Positive effects include:

Stat increases - Special Actors will provide performance boosts for Co, Ac, and Dr during the event period.
Increased Tips - Winning an Improv Battle with a Special Actor will result in an increase in rewarded Tips, known as Mankai Bonus. Tips earned will go up depending on a) how many Special Actors you have on your Team and b) how many times they have been bloomed.

Practice[]

Use LP to play practices. Bento
and Onigiri
will refill them.
Improv Battles will randomly start during Practice.

Improv Battles[]

When an Improv Battle pops up, similar to other Event Shows, meet the amount of Points required to pass. Spend SP to play an Improv Battle. Kame Boxes
and Kame Buns
will replenish it.
If you win a Battle, you'll receive a large amount of Tips. If you lose, you'll still be given Tips but a lower amount.
You can only attempt a Battle once as no matter the outcome you will gain Tips.
If you win a Battle with a number of Tips larger than the minimum needed, the amount of rewarded Tips will be increased on a tiered basis. The highest available Tip Goal is shown as the Max Bonus.
If you cancel a Battle, the required points will go down. Tips correspond with the level of the points required.
Battles come in 3 difficulties: Easy, Normal, and Hard.
You will get a Mankai Bonus that will multiply your overall score from Special Cards if you clear a Show, giving extra Tips.

Ad lib Skills[]

Ad lib Skills are only used during Improv Events.
The probability of an Ad lib Skill being activated during a Battle depends on the Level of the Lead Actor and Guest Actor on you Team. Other Actors on the Team do not affect it.
Ad lib Skills can be leveled up through Special Training. The higher the skill level, the higher the strength and the chance of the Skill being activated.

Kame Gacha[]

When doing Kame Gacha, your number of currently owned Tips will decrease but total number of Tips received overall will not change. Using Tips to do Kame Gacha will not prevent you from receiving Tip prizes.

The Kame Gacha comes in 3 boxes in 3 colors: red, blue, and yellow. Each box has a pool of prizes form which you can draw from.
You can select a box to do the Kame Gacha to get a variety of prizes. All of the items in each box have the same probability of being drawn.
Each time you receive an item from a particular box, the amount of that item in the box is decreased. For example, if you get an SSR from one box you may not get it again in that same colored box.
You can change the selected box at any time.
If you clear one box completely, you will get receive 1 Premium Medal
and a Badge.
If you clear all the prizes from all three boxes, you'll get a Badge and 5 Premium Tokens!

Lucky Tip[]

Lucky Tips have a chance of appearing after you clear a Battle. The goal is to get 2 or more of the same character. You can accept your initial set or use your one remaining chance to swap out ones you don't want. Click on the icons you don't want and press Change.
