3 Cheers for Mankai Company!
Looks like everyone's here. Let's get started.
Thanks for making the time for this meeting, everyone.
We're here so we can talk about the next week's event celebrating our first anniversary as the renewed Mankai Company.
Isn't everythin' for the party already set?
All preperations have been going smoothly so far.
They are, but I was thinking it'd be nice if all of us surprised Izumi with a collective gift at the party.
Huh, so that's why you called us here.
I already gave her a personal thank-you gift, but a present from all of us would be awesome, too!
What? When did you give her one?
Huh? You didn't give her anything, Tenten?
I, uh, well...
Oh, please. Stop pretending as if you didn't. I bet you thought you were the only one who gave her a gift.
Hey! Keep your assumptions to yourself!
I gave her something, too!
I guess everyone had the same idea.
Still, I'm sure she'd appreciate a collective present from all of us.
...Should we all pitch in a little money?
We'd end up with quite the budget since there's twenty of us.
Just gotta figure out what to get her.
I'm pretty sure we already gave her a pretty wide range of stuff.
We could fold her a thousand origami cranes!
I don't think it's the right occasion for that!
Umm... How about we make her a message book?
What would that be like?
|One of my classmates is about to transfer schools, so we each wrote a page-long message in a notebook as a farewell present for them.
They loved it, so maybe we could do the same for Izumi.
That's not a bad idea.
It would indeed be more heartfelt than something that is simply store-bought.
My feelings for her can't be reduced to just one page... I'll need at least ten books.
Even one book is not enough?!
Even if it was one book, I bet it'd be as thick as a dictionary...
I'm pretty sure she doesn't need that cluttering her room.
U-uh, yeah... It'll be a lot easier for her to get through if we just stick to one book from all of us.
Why don't we have a battle to see who can win Izumi over using only a single page as a rule?
I'm not going to lose to any of you. I'll cram my ten books' worth of feeling onto one sheet...
Yep. GL with that.
You've gotten really good at handling Masumi, Itaru.
It's child's play, really.
Let's go buy her a book and get started ASAP!
Great idea. We can take turns writing in it starting with the Spring Troup. Please make sure to have your messages done before the party.
Huh? Why are you all here?
Crap, we need to think of something...
Wh-what's wrong with being in here? We're just playing red rover!
Red rover, red rover...!
Send Taichi right over!
Y-yeah! Here I come!
Couldn't come up with anythin' better...?
|Uh, okay? Looks like you're having the time of your lives.
Oh, almost forgot. It's a good thing you're all here.
Some contractors are going to be working on the theater starting tomorrow, so you won't be able to go inside for a while.
Contractors? What for?
I'm having them do a safety check on our equipment.
Makes sense. Our theater's as beat up and neglected as an outdated console...
At night, it looks like some haunted and abandoned ruins.
And sittin' in those chairs for too long's a literal pain in the ass.
Let's save up so we can do some major remodeling!
We should replace those chairs with leather sofas of the highest quality.
Keep dreaming. There's no way we could afford that with our budget.
